Opera isn't nearly as entertaining when I can actually understand what's being said.

I love closed captioning

While watching a Ted Koppel report on Iran, I noted that the closed captioning system rendered "indoctrination on the first day of school" as "estrogen ration on the first day of school".
That is all.
... but that's enough.

Installing fc4 (obviously named for the number of install discs) on the work system, so not much to do other than browse web on phone and anticipate how screwed I am when I realize that I NEEDED THAT FILE WHYOHWHY DIDN'T I BACK UP ANYTHING?
But, yeah, change is good.

So there's a virus going around at work. I don't really care, until virtually all the messages in my inbox disappear. I have absolutely no evidence that these two things are related, but it at least sounds good.
Random messages remain. So, I remove them all.
It's the first time in years I've had an empty inbox. It physically felt wonderful. I guess I'm glad I still take pleasure in the small things in life.
My manager found out, and started making fun of my complete lack of email skills. He went back to his desk, and im'd me that his messages were gone.
Life is good.
